This year, around 500 young people from 10 different countries brought together their artistic talents and militant commitment to draw up the abolitionist posters of the future. From Austria, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, Germany, Indonesia, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia and Uganda, our young artists demonstrated exceptional creativity! Among the 50 shortlisted posters submitted to the jury of the 6th edition of our International Graphic Poster Competition for Young People, discover these inspiring works now!

The 6th edition of the “Draw me abolition” international graphic poster competition was organized by the International Abolition Education Network, with ECPM’s support. This biannual educational project is targeting young people under the age of 25, and its purpose is to motivate their civic commitment to the topic of the universal abolition of the death penalty through an artistic approach.
This competition demonstrates that the younger generation is capable of taking up this topic and working alongside civil society players and national and international institutions to call for the universal abolition of the death penalty. A catalog featuring the winning artworks will shortly be distributed to the winners, project partners and the wider public at forthcoming abolitionist events.
Meanwhile, large-format prints of the winning artworks will be displayed in all participating countries, as well as at major international abolitionist events, starting with the Congresses Against the Death Penalty.
