
During the simulation exercice of the vote for a resolution on the use of the death penalty
Are you a student of law, journalism, political science, communications, arts, education or social sciences, or a civil society activist with a passion for human rights ? Don’t miss this opportunity to join a committed community ! We are offering you the chance to take part in a workshop alongside other young people in Europe, in support of human rights and the abolition of the death penalty.
How to apply ?
To apply, please fill in the following form before April 22, 2025, and add a link to a video / upload a video (ideally one minute long) to briefly introduce yourself and share your motivation with us!
Applications will be considered regardless of gender, disability, marital or parental status, racial, ethnic or social origin, colour, religion, belief or sexual orientation.
Those chosen will be notified by email after April 28, 2025.
Conditions of participation
• You are aged between 18 and 30.
• You are a citizen of a Council of Europe member country.
• You are available from 2 to 7 June 2025 and can travel to Strasbourg (travel and accommodation costs in Strasbourg will be fully covered).
A workshop to
• Strengthen your theoretical knowledge of the abolition of the death penalty (abolitionist arguments, the situation in the world, etc.)
• Discover or deepen your knowledge of methods of advocacy and action (social networks, mobilising the general public, networking, etc.)
• Work with committed and creative students and young activists in Europe.
• Comprendre les techniques de construction collaborative de projets.
• Understand the techniques of collaborative project construction.
• Take part in an enriching experience of human solidarity.
• Experience intercultural co-creation at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg.
